xmas eve is always the same routine: go to someone's house, wake up the next day thinking where i am and how i got there, sleeping the rest of xmas day away. then wait for new year's eve and do it all over again.
I love festive seasons, and thankfully i'm not in school.

it feels weird, it is weird to be on the receiving end of the salute, really. it was like i was stunned by a taser, i could only just stand still, no reaction.
nonsense, just rubbish. i cant get any serious writing done. i spend more time dwelling in books, newspapers and mags. oh and youtube too.
can i buy some focus?

where is everybody??? no one is free!!
Am i the only one who thinks this year national day song is plain sad?
Being sick isn't fun. I've been lazing on my couch, in front of the tele and i've sat through and listen to the national day song for too many times. It's unlike previous years', the song does not reflect anything about nationhood, and it sounds really depressing, like a MCR emo punk song.
Seriously, they had gotta make better choices.

So many 19 years old around the world are doing amazing things, yet we can only live normal lives.
I enjoy having late night teh tarik with friends.
when i was young, i watched Top Gun, and i knew i wanted to be a pilot. And then i watched Independence Day, and i knew i wanted to be a pilot again. After a while, i watched Ladder 49, and i knew i wanted to be Fireman. Not long after, i watched Deadliest Catch, and i knew i wanted to be a sailor. During the same period, i watched Anthony Bourdain, and i knew i wanted to be a chef.
The tele really does affect our lives.

Only 2 types of people matter in the world today. Doctors and environmentalists. Save the children and save the earth.
I have to forgo my massage just to complete my assignments. NS is killing me.
Listening to music is therapeutic. MTV or radio is a privilege i've never appreciated. I look forward to time alone when i can listen to songs. It's a weird kind of self indulgence.

Yes, i can't wait to go back to the place where the food is free, the transport is free, the drinks are free. No more need to top up ezlink, no more need to buy breakfast/lunch/dinner :D
Yes we may have dreams, but we gotta save the earth first.
i can't really sleep for long hours these days. i went to bed at 1am, woke up at 6am. i'm disappointed with the amount of sleep time i'm getting.
but at least in the wee hours of the morning, i had the chance to indulge in some thoughts, and i finally could envision my future career. I now know what career i want to pursue.

Looks like I'm not as amazing as I wished. Nothing special will be happening.

I'm spending time with friends/team mates/neighbours and that is all that matters now. So what if a MRT ride to Bedok or costs 1.70 and the return trip cost 1.70 too, the fun from rollerblading and is worth it.
I'm more and more into this beach bum subculture, I find lazing on the deck chair and sun tanning, dipping in the sea occasionally, and of course beach volleyball surprisingly enjoyable, though this lifestyle is spectacularly expensive :( HOW COME THE WATERMELON JUICE COSTS 7 DOLLARS, when a whole melon costs only 5 dollars!!
3 more days to a life where money and hair doesn't matter.

my neighbour came over and had a chat with my mum. apparently, her daughter got 147 for PSLE. Yes i know such a score is unimaginable for some of my friends but the reality is that a lot of ppl are facing such predicament and it is terrible.
That made me wonder, is it worse to screw up PSLE or A levels? Clearly A levels is the most impt exam, the litmus test for scholarships, overseas uni admission, but then if you don't do well for PSLE, you may never have the opportunity to take the A levels, so it's something like a chicken and egg question i suppose. DAMN IM GETTING WORRIED
I WANT TO ACE THE A's!!!!!!!
